Phase 4: Validation
At this stage the documentation and website are reviewed the Validator.
If the necessary information is complete and meets the criteria the Validator will arrange to visit the school at a time convenient to both and inform the Digital Schools Coordinator. Otherwise If the necessary material does not meet the criteria the Validator terminates the validation and informs the Digital Coordinator.
After the school visit the Validator issues a report of the Validation visit to the Digital Schools Coordinator. This report is reviewed by the Digital Schools Steering Committee and based on the report an award may or may not be issued.
The school is notified of the Steering Committee decision as soon as possible and details of the report are sent to the school.
